Condolences, dear seekers, for Perfect World Entertainment's Forsaken World (formerly "Project EM"/PEM), MMORPG. This site was once filled with hope, but now serves as a warning to gamers with even the slightest glimmer of interest.

Forsaken World has been released in "Open Beta", and brings SHAME to PWE and it's parent Company, PWB (Perfect World Beijing). FW is a Flagship of Corporate Greed, and Poor Craftsmanship..

"Come, mourn with me! Practice well your Dirges, your Nocturnes, and your Vespers! Come grieve with me, Dark Children, and together we shall conduct a Grand Funeral, scored in blood!"

We shall hunt elsewhere for the promises left unfulfilled by this Forsaken World.

Classes and Skills

Well, seekers, with  the revelation of the XP Skill system, I'm sure many are wondering what they can look forward to. I know I am. Fortunately, the Official News has given us another peek into XP Skills, this time, as they relate to the individual classes.  Just keep in mind, the naming conventions, as always, are subject to change.

WARRIOR"A bit edgy"

A DPS (damage per second) class. Deadly in the short term, squishy in the long term, this DPS class has to make sure that he "doesn't steal aggro" from a Guardian, in party battles.

"Lightning cheated" and "Thunder cheated",  Your "Bread and butter" XP Skills.
"Bladestorm"  "is the prime choice, gorgeous rotation, large-scale attack, a stroke spike over the enemy"
"Bloody" Sacrifice some of yourself to assist others
"God Of War" When HP is low, use this skill to dramatically raise your defense, and your life.

GUARDIAN "You...shall..not..pass!"

Gotta love these guys.(and in FW, 'Guys only'). Always welcome, (and necessary) to a proper party,  the "tank" class. This is the guy who should keep the mobs attention, and usually has some aggro-related skills.Big on health, big on defense, this guy walks up to a 'Boss' and spits in it's face.

"Guard Against". Your basic Defence raising skill.
"Power of Anger"  A malice/hate \skill , when released causes major damage
"Halo" protects all party members
"Stone Soul" Temporary invincibility(?)

ASSASSIN "You can't see me."

"latent image" a basic stealth technique
(You know what...there's more , but I don't like 'sins, very much. Always seems a "certain type" of player plays these. (and it's this "certain type" that makes a bad rep for other 'sins.If you've played this class in other MMO's you know what I mean.) There's a bunch of chain skills involved, (as if your average Assassin needed any more advantages).)
"Close to the enemy by stealth, the "edge of chaos", "closed throat", "nightmare Juesha" and a series of high damage output to keep up with the skills followed, accompanied by "pain", "Cover" and other special effects, definitely can make the enemy within a short time died of pain.  If the enemy escape, "kill" the role of skills on the show, this skill can slow down the enemy at the same time improve the assassin's own speed.
"Rapid dodge", "high winds of the Shadow" makes use of skills such as time of assassins in the wounding to avoid self-injury."

MUSKETEER "All for one, and one for all"
(if I see a Musketeer named 'Mickey', I'm gonna hurl)

Kings of Ranged combat, it's good to see ranged physical getting some love. At one time, my "class of choice", but so many mmo's hinder the ranged unit, from the start, (with valuable "bag space" mandated for ammo, plus expenditures for said consumables). One thing I loved about ESO is that "there was no ammo", per se. Can you imagine if warriors had to expend something, every attack? Like a "sharpening stone", or something? There'd be an uproar. Oh, and you have to use one of your bag slots for a sheath. XD I could hear it now. Hopefully, Musketeers will continue to enjoy the bit of love that PW has shown them in the past.

For Musketeers we have:"Duohun shooting," "continuous loading," "soul extraction", "suck soul fire". In combination with rapid-loading bullets , which can also status effect, as long as you can keep your distance, you're good. If you're going to play this class, pray your kiting abilities are up to par.
"hit the guidance", "inspire courage," "weakness of the cloud," "stagnate shooting" 

Finally, "my peeps". I try to cover "all things Forsaken", but the subtitle for this journal *is* "Journey of a Blood Controller". This is where my focus is, (sorry). This is supposed to be an "intermediate" class, and seems to fall roughly into the "warrior mage" category. (Sign me up). Going out on a limb, here, I'm gonna guess this will be a good "soloing" class..but we shall see.

Being vamps, BC's have the magics from the two original gods and Magic of the Bat.  
"Blood Sucking Imprint", "Winds of the Bat", "Xuemo Form", "Feast" is the Uber Attack, and fearsome to behold.
 of support skills, there is "blood circulation technique," "Dark Pact", "Life of the kinds of" 

BARD "Notable Accomplishments"

Now Bard is an interesting class, all by itself. From what I understand, they are the only class with "an extra button" which controls notes, that have to play music. I'm guessing the skill required to properly play a bard will limit the number we see roaming Grand Mundo. (You have my respect, in advance.)

Of the XP Skills, I'm not even going to try translating this, but judge for yourself:
 "Current versions of the Bard can be issued contains harp wind, water, light notes of three elements (corresponding to a real-life notes do re mi), to combat the enemy and support teammates. When the notes in the correct order when the composition of music, will trigger a powerful music skills.  In the future, additional notes will join the game, so that the poet has become more complex and interesting skills. In addition, the Yin poetry that people have decent control field skills, "Siren's Lamentations," can slow down large areas of the enemy, "The Divine Comedy: Teana," let all the surrounding enemies to sleep." 

  MAGE..can you say 'Armageddon'?

I keep looking at that pic and think "Boom, shaka-laka!". Mages are another DPS class, oftentimes outperforming warriors in that capacity. A lot of massive damage skills, in this department. AOE's animal mutations (enemy), and an AoE "Silence'. My candidate for the first to receive "Nerf!" calls in the forums. Uber DPS, but , usually, Uber Squishy. If a Mage steals aggro from a Guardian, the Mage will probably die, soon after.

HEALER "tick them off and 'no heals for you!'.."

"Healers..you can't live with them, and you absolutely can't survive without them." (joking, seekers).A "must" for any party, or even more than one, depending on the circumstances. Since (generally) not a "DPS Class", be sure to offer them any help out in the PVE world. A leveled healer is a Happy Healer, and Happy Healers keep you alive, and thus happy, as well.
