Yes, Vampires. Solemn, mysterious, elegant. The pale skinned Harvesters of the Night. Vampires, as a race, are the "youngest" of the races in Forsaken World.There are many legends of this race, but we, of course, will focus on how this exiting new race came about in Grand Mundo.
Enter Sillia, the most beautiful of Goddesses (imo), apparently, so everyone else thought. Many tried to woo her, but it was Howard, a human, who eventually captured her heart. It seems Howard's brother, James Augustine, was none too pleased, as he wanted her for himself.

However, being human, Howard's time in the plane of existence was naturally limited by his mortality. As time progressed, he began to age. In order to preserve their love for all eternity, Sillia approached Howard with "the embrace", absorbing the life essence of the blood, and thus making Howard immortal, and the First of Vampires.
"Have you seen my Dad, "Howard", around?"
Then came the First Great War, and Sillia was backed by the side of light against the forces of the dark. Sadly, there were heavy casualties, and Sillia became "Missing in Action", much to Howard's grief and suffering., but he was not allowed to grieve very long, leading coalition forces, and his four children, in a battle to repel invaders in Ulster.
Details get sketchy , here, but soon after, the Children of Howard start getting a bad reputation. Vampire Legends and tales spread across the mainland. Their need for blood has made them outcast, and theirs is a tale of confusion, loneliness, love, hate , kindness, and degeneration. Sounds like my kind of party.

This race has much potential in Forsaken World, and I will be one of those to explore all of it.
