Thanks to Sam "QforQ"Houston, a *very* large collection of avatars, desktops, and icons are available for viewing/copying on Flickr. You have *got* to check these out, a lot of images not seen before. What are you waiting for?
Let the gamer beware, Forsake this game!
Forsaken World has been released in "Open Beta", and brings SHAME to PWE and it's parent Company, PWB (Perfect World Beijing). FW is a Flagship of Corporate Greed, and Poor Craftsmanship..
"Come, mourn with me! Practice well your Dirges, your Nocturnes, and your Vespers! Come grieve with me, Dark Children, and together we shall conduct a Grand Funeral, scored in blood!"
We shall hunt elsewhere for the promises left unfulfilled by this Forsaken World.

02 05 06 07 08Gaming is Serious business
Serious business, indeed. According to a new article by Gamasutra, U.S. Gamers (alone) spent 3.8 BILLION dollars in 2009, (The U.K. came in second at a distant 270 million). The graphic breakdown, of the top 6 countries, is as follows:

Inside PWB- and first look at mounts
Heya, seekers,
Another video from GTV. In this one, we go deep inside Perfect World, itself, for some *really* "inside" looks at Forsaken World. Unless you understand/read Chinese, it's gonna be a tough watch, (it's more for the hardcore "got to see *everything* crowd, and it loads uber-slow) The majority of the video (09:25 minutes long) is at a conference table in PWB, (I've annotated the FW footage below in "video notes".
Video notes: Brief look at *extended*(color) customization (at about 01:20 and 01:28 into it), hotkeying (skills?) at 02:22, in-game (city) footage a 03:31, Desert combat (Assasin) at 04:04 and 06:51, a mount (horse) at 04:51, Horse and Unicorn at 05:37, a wicked (Master?) AoE Blast against boars at 06:22, and a "duel in the desert" (Master vs. Assassin) at 07:19.
Greater customization? This one shows Hair coloring.
