Let the gamer beware, Forsake this game!

Condolences, dear seekers, for Perfect World Entertainment's Forsaken World (formerly "Project EM"/PEM), MMORPG. This site was once filled with hope, but now serves as a warning to gamers with even the slightest glimmer of interest.

Forsaken World has been released in "Open Beta", and brings SHAME to PWE and it's parent Company, PWB (Perfect World Beijing). FW is a Flagship of Corporate Greed, and Poor Craftsmanship..

"Come, mourn with me! Practice well your Dirges, your Nocturnes, and your Vespers! Come grieve with me, Dark Children, and together we shall conduct a Grand Funeral, scored in blood!"

We shall hunt elsewhere for the promises left unfulfilled by this Forsaken World.

Weapons Systems

Post 2 today, seekers, is a little more insight into the "weapon deformation" system in FW. According to the post, this will not be based exclusively on the real world money you invest, so it's not "Cash FTW", something I think everybody can appreciate. Participating in activities, or even "blessings of the gods" can help you get enhancement stones.

Apparently , light emission can be turned off.If so, nice feature

Be kind to your local Blacksmith

Now, notice I said "deformation", because, as you strengthen/enhance your weapon, not only will you acquire different glow effects, but it's *shape*, as well. There are different kinds of enhancement stone, each with their own attributes.

But the HUGE news in this article is a bout "Fail rates". Almost every mmo player of many F2P games knows the dread of "upgraded failed!", and the usual corresponding loss of upgrades. Many a gamer has "ragequit" over their +7 "Weapon of Uberness" going back to 0 after an upgrade fail. Even the "luck" system has been modified, so that the patient can get almost 100% guaranteed success, with the appropriate amount of upgrade stones. Even if you *do* fail, your weapon DOES NOT LOOSE IT'S UPGRADES.  Wow. "Forsaken World, I love you , already"

This system, along with the "soul gold" and anti-goldseller methods are really helping to shape up a game that is balanced for all players..not just the ones that spend a lot of money. Finally, a game that strives for player balance!
